1. How do I apply for a marriage license?

To get a marriage license in Arkansas:

Each individual must be over 18 years old to get married without parental consent.
No blood test or waiting period is involved.
You must show proper ID.
The forms may be filled out at any county courthouse in the State of Arkansas.

Cost:
A marriage license costs $58. Cash only, exact change.

2. Are golf courses nearby?

Yes. Holiday Island, which is only 7 miles from downtown Eureka Springs offers a 9 and 18 hole course.

The Kings River golf course in Shell Knob, MO (about 20 minutes north) offers 18 holes.

The Carroll County Country Club is open to the public and is an 18 hole course.

3. Where can I access the internet?

There are many locations in town that offer Wifi access. Just a few include; The Carnegie Public Library, Bunch's Quick Check, Lovin' Oven Bakeria, Rosco's Internet Cafe and the Eureka Springs City Auditorum. Check with your innkeeper. Most lodging properties are also equipped with this service.

4. Can we bathe in or drink from the springs?

All local banks offer ATMs. Machines can also be located in Harts Grocery Store, and Chelsea's Corner Cafe.

7. When are the dogwood and red bud trees in bloom?

Mid April to mid May.

8. When is the best time to view the fall foliage?

Anytime between the last two weeks of October and the first week of November.

9. Does Thorncrown Chapel offer Sunday services?

Sunday services are held at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM April through October. November through the third week in December we have one Sunday service at 11:00 AM. Services last approximately one hour and include inspiring music and biblically based preaching. All people are welcome.
