New Museum Coming Soon!Crystal Bridges

The personal showcase of Alice Walton and the Walton Family Foundation, of Wal-Mart fame, will be on display. Crystal Bridges is expected to be one of the country’s premier art institutions “dedicated to American art and artists, learning, and community gatherings.” The museum is expected to be 100,000 square feet when completed, with Eureka Springs and its rich heritage of local art working very closely with the Museum throughout the process.

It is hoped that through this partnership visitors of Crystal Bridges will not only take in all the collected art that the museum has to offer, but that they will also be exposed to Eureka Springs’ community of working artists, which numbers in the hundreds. The possibility exists that some Eureka Springs artists will have their work displayed at Crystal Bridges.

The museum will offer visitors not only a world-class art museum, but also the chance to experience a living, breathing artist community less than an hour away in Eureka Springs.
